Court grants bail to Malvinder Mohan Singh in bank fraud case – Times of India

A Delhi court on Friday granted bail to former Fortis Healthcare promoter Malvinder Singh, primarily on the grounds of parity since his brother and co-accused Shivinder has already been granted bail in the case of alleged bank fraud.
Additional sessions judge Sandeep Yadav granted the relief after taking note of arguments by advocate Manu Sharma who submitted that his client’s brother Shivinder has already been granted bail in the same case earlier.
He also argued that none of the persons named in the FIR except Malvinder and Shivinder have been arrested despite the fact that the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police claimed that a “major offence” has been committed.
