Durant, LeBron, Curry Lead NBA All-Star Voting

Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Steph Curry are the top three vote-getters so far in NBA All-Star voting. The game is set for March 7 in Atlanta.

Durant, who is second in the league in scoring at 30.8 points per game while averaging 7.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists, leads all players with 2.3 million votes. He is having a magnificent season so far with the Nets as he returns from a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered in June 2019.

James, who led the Lakers to the NBA title last fall, is second with 2.28 million votes. LeBron is averaging 25.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7.5 assists and is considered by some the MVP favorite.

Curry is third at 2.1 million votes. The Warriors star is averaging 28.2 points, 6.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds.

Nikola Jokic, the MVP candidate from Denver, is second behind James among Western Conference frontcourt players followed by Kawhi Leonard.

Among Eastern Conference frontcourt players, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Joel Embiid rank second and third, respectively behind Durant.

Luka Doncic and Damian Lillard follow Curry among Western Conference guards, while Kyrie Irving and James Harden of the Nets rank second and third among Eastern Conference guards.

TNT will reveal this season’s NBA All-Star starters the evening of Thursday, Feb. 18 during TNT NBA Tip-Off. TNT will also announce the NBA All-Star reserves, as selected by NBA head coaches, the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 23.
