Avg daily UPI nos touch 46cr peak in June – Times of India

MUMBAI: Average daily transactions under UPI touched a new high of 46.3 crore in June, up from 45.3 crore in the month before. Average daily transaction value also rose to Rs 66,903 crore from Rs 65,966 crore in May.
Total transactions in June – at 1,389 crore – were lower than May’s 1,404 crore due to the fewer number of days in the month. The number of transactions has increased by 49% year-on-year.According to bankers, there has been a significant increase in the use of UPI for investments in capital markets.
