Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the first full Budget of the newly elected NDA government on July 23, 2024, that is on the second day of the Parliament’s Budget session. Today she will table the Economic Survey 2023-24, an important document prepared under the guidance of the Chief Economic Advisor by the Department of Economic Affairs. The Economic Survey will provide guidance and direction to the Union Budget 2024.
The Modi 3.0 government’s Budget 2024 is expected to continue the government’s focus on record capital expenditure with special emphasis on infrastructure.
