Bruce Springsteen Charts His Twelfth No. 1 Album In The U.K. With ‘Letter To You’

Bruce Springsteen is back at No. 1 on the ranking of the most-consumed albums in the U.K once again with his latest release Letter To You, which debuts in first place.

The legendary rock has now charted an incredible 12 No. 1 albums in the country, which stands as one of the most impressive totals in history among all artists.

Springsteen has now reached No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart with the following traditional releases: Born in the U.S.A. (1984), Tunnel of Love (1987), Human Touch (1992), The Rising (2002), Devils & Dust (2005), Magic (2007), Working on a Dream (2009), Wrecking Ball (2012), High Hopes (2014) and Western Stars, which ruled last year, as well as Letter To You. His simply-titled Greatest Hits compilation also ran the show for a stint back in 1995.

On top of his 12 No. 1 releases, Springsteen has also reached the top 10 with an additional 10 titles, including regular albums, compilations and live recordings.

Letter To You was preceded by a handful of singles, but none of them made any notable commercial impact in the U.K.

Springsteen replaces last week’s leader, the Vamps’ Cherry Blossom, atop the tally, and the rocker’s latest effort is one of several that debut inside the top 10 this time around.
