Blackpink control Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart this week, as they debut new smashes “Lovesick Girls” and “Pretty Savage” at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively. The two tracks are featured on their first full-length The Album, which itself opens atop the World Albums tally.
While the South Korean girl group may appear in the highest two spots on the World Digital Song Sales chart, another group from their home country claims more real estate than any other name this time around.
BTS dominate the latest edition of the World Digital Song Sales chart, as they appear in nine of the 25 available spots. That’s a huge showing for any musical act on any Billboard ranking, and yet it’s not unusual for the septet, who have established themselves as the kings of the ranking of some of the most successful releases from foreign acts.
While BTS may chart the most hits on this week’s World Digital Song Sales roster, they don’t gain any ground, and they aren’t close to capturing the top spot. The band succeeds this time around thanks largely to the fact that three beloved cuts from the act return to the tally.
Fan favorite “Mikrokosmos” stands as the highest-charting of the trio of returning champions, as it reappears at No. 15. Below that tune, singles “Black Swan” and “On” both also find their way back to the World Digital Song Sales chart, settling at Nos. 22 and 24, respectively.
Every other BTS track present on the current World Digital Song Sales chart falls from where it landed last period (most notably, “Filter,” which pushed to the summit for the first time a week ago, dips to No. 8), except for “Euphoria,” which is steady at No. 11.
Below is a look at where all nine of BTS’s hits land on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
