China Claims To Be Developing Two-Seater J-20 Stealth Jet, But Evidence Remains Off The Radar

Last week, Chinese media was once again abuzz with reports of another new variant of the Chengdu J-20 “Mighty Dragon” stealth fighters following reports in July that a J-20B variant was entering production. If true, that means China is developing the world’s first two-seat stealth fighter, though the two-seat B-2 Spirit stealth bomber has been around for decades.

By some accounts, the new fighter may be used unconventionally as a stealthy high-speed scout and early warning plane. However, evidence supporting work on a two-seater stealth jet remains very thin for now.
