G.I. Joe Ninja ‘Snake Eyes’ Is In ‘Fortnite’ Now With A New Action Figure To Match

Well the crossovers just don’t stop when it comes to Fortnite these days. Bummed out that there’s no good Terminator games out there? Or maybe a little letdown by the new Avengers game?

Not to worry! Fortnite has you covered—at least in terms of skins.

This season alone has seen so many different crossovers with other IPs I’m not sure how to keep track anymore. The Walking Dead, Predator, Terminator, the list goes on and on.

Now the latest hunter to join the team is Snake Eyes from the G.I. Joe toys and cartoons. (There’s movies also but I haven’t seen these and I’m not sure if they’re any good—but I loved the cartoon as a kid and had so many action figures).

This is a pretty cool skin actually. He comes with a Back Bling and Harvesting Tool that are both his cool ninja katana.

Even cooler for you kids out there (or for those of us who simply refuse to grow up) Hasbro is making a new GI Joe Snake Eyes action figure that matches the one in Fortnite. It’s like the whole toys-to-life craze but in reverse!

Here’s how they both look:

As you can see, the action figure comes with a whole bunch of Fortnite-inspired gear, like Boogie Bombs, a Plunger, a Mythic Shockwave Launcher and more:

I’m actually surprised we haven’t seen more crossovers like this in the physical realm. It’s a clever idea.

The action-figure is available now for pre-order. It’ll set you back $39.99 but it’s a reasonably high-end toy for the price—a “Highly posable 6-inch figure with over 20 points of articulation”. Pretty cool. Not a bad birthday gift idea for your own Fortnite player.

Now somebody just needs to make a new GI Joe TV show. Those were fun back in the day.
