Lacey Evans’ Pregnancy Is Legit, Top Contender Out Of WWE Elimination Chamber

Lacey Evans shocked the wrestling world with what, on the surface, seemed to be a storyline-driven plot twist on WWE Raw.

As part of an angle where Evans has been romantically linked to Hall of Famer Ric Flair during a heated feud with Flair’s daughter Charlotte Flair, Evans announced she is pregnant.

Evans’ announcement led to her tag team match alongside Peyton Royce against Charlotte Flair and Asuka abruptly ending. Per storyline, Flair celebrated the announcement, strongly implying that he was the father.

In an exclusive update from Wrestling Inc, Evans is legitimately pregnant and is expecting her second child. Evans was previously scheduled to face Asuka for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship this Sunday at Elimination Chamber, but in light of her pregnancy announcement, Evans will be unable to compete for the Raw Championship. As of this writing, WWE has yet to announce a replacement for Evans.

Earlier today, Wrestling Inc reported the direction was changing for a top WWE storyline. Monday night on Raw saw multiple changes to top angles, as not only did Evans announce her pregnancy, The Miz pulled out of the Raw Elimination Chamber Match, later being replaced by former WWE champion Kofi Kingston.

Evans’ spiteful storyline romance with Ric Flair brought about memories of the Torrie Wilson-Al Wilson-Dawn Marie storyline that led to a wrestling wedding before ending in Wilson’s [kayfabe] demise.

It’s unknown just how far WWE will take Evans’ pregnancy storyline alongside Ric Flair, however they at least teased on Raw that it would be part of a developing storyline before Evans must inevitably take maternity leave.

Evans’ real-life husband, Alfonso Estrella-Kadlec, and daughter Summer have been featured in past WWE storylines.
