Supreme Court gives telecom companies 10 years to clear AGR dues – Times of India

NEW DELHI: In a big relief to telecom operators, the Supreme Court on Tuesday granted 10 years for clearing AGR (adjusted gross revenue) dues. The top court also asked the NCLAT (National Company Law Appellate Tribunal) to decide whether the spectrum of insolvent telecom companies can be part of insolvency proceedings.
It further told the telcos to deposit the first instalment of 10 per cent of their dues by March 31, 2021.
