WWE Raw Restults: Winners, News And Notes On October 12, 2020

WWE Raw featured a farewell address from Seth Rollins, a disqualification match between Kevin Owens and Aleister Black and Night 2 of the WWE Draft with Stephanie McMahon presiding as host.

Night 2’s first pick saw “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt drafted to Raw. The Fiend will be joined by Braun Strowman, Matt Riddle, and Jeff Hardy on Monday nights. Meanwhile, the WWE Raw tag team champions the Street Profits and Kevin Owens were sent to SmackDown. The New Day was dramatically separated after Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were drafted to Raw.

WWE Raw was down big last week with competition from major sports, garnering 1.686 million viewers.

Opening Segment Featuring Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton

Based on the bright blue t-shirt Drew McIntyre was wearing, you’d never know he was drafted as the No. 1 overall pick to Raw last week.

Drew McIntyre opened the show beating the hell out of Randy Orton as WWE looks to spend the whole show making fans forget that, last week, McIntyre suffered his first loss in almost a year.

Kevin Owens def. Aleister Black—No Disqualification Match

Kevin Owens main change since coming into contact with The Fiend is he now dresses like he’s competing on Raw Underground, denim and all.

This felt like a match that Aleister Black couldn’t afford to lose, especially given the fact that he did not get an entrance, but lose he did.

This match was excellent. How is WWE still trying to find its footing with Aleister Black? This man is money.

MizTV Featuring Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke

The Mandy Rose-Dana Brooke act—rife with terribly generic music—had one of the most overproduced, underwhelming tag team entrances I’ve ever seen.

Mandy Rose noted The Miz was ruining people’s lives by separating her and Otis, but I don’t think she was referring to her life being ruined.

Mandy Rose really showed something on the mic throughout this segment. Dana Brooke? Not so much.

Lana calling herself a savvy social media influencer, while working for a company that snatched up most of her social media revenue, was a perfect heel line.
