Ananya Nagalla Donates Rs 2.5 Lakh To Andhra Pradesh CM Relief Fund – News18

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been witnessing major floods that have disrupted life due to immense rainfall in the past few days. Amidst this disaster, many prominent celebrities from the Telugu cinema have stepped forward to provide help to the victims. One of these is the Telugu actress Ananya Nagalla of the films Anveshi, Play Back and Vakeel Saab fame. Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has appreciated Ananya for this step with a tweet. The AP Deputy CM tweeted in Telugu, Ananya Nagalla has donated Rs 2.5 Lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This donation has been made to help the flood victims in the Andhra Pradesh. The AP Deputy CM requested everyone to stand by the aggrieved people in difficult times and strengthen the relief programmes of the state government.

Ananya thanked the Deputy CM for his acknowledgement of her efforts. She tweeted,” Thank you so much, sir. You’re always my inspiration This means the world to me.”

Apart from Ananya Nagalla, many Telugu producers have also stepped in to help the flood victims. Recently, a press meet was organised at the Film Chamber. In this meeting, noted industry figures unveiled an action plan to provide relief. Damodar Prasad, Honorary Secretary of the Film Chamber, announced significant donations on behalf of the Telugu film industry. He said that many people are suffering due to floods in Vijayawada and Khammam. He added that the Telugu film industry has always stepped up during such times. According to him, the TFI is contributing Rs 25 lakh each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He said Rs 10 lakh will be from the producers and Rs 5 lakh from the federation. He also mentioned the account details for the people who wanted to donate to the relief efforts.

Another famous producer, Daggubati Suresh Babu also pledged support from his family. He had announced a Rs 1 crore donation. Suresh Babu said that their industry always supports the people in times of crisis. According to the Eega producer, he is not only contributing the funds but also providing the essential supplies as well.
