The Masked Singer Season 3 Episode 10 Reveal: Spoilers & Unmasked Recap

The Masked Singer season 3 episode 10 aired on Wednesday, April 1. The special two-hour episode brought together the top 3 finalists from Groups A, B, and C, to perform against each other for the first time as the “Super 9.”

‘The Masked Singer’ Season 3 Episode 10 Recap

The “Super 9” performers that came together to compete in episode 10 were the White Tiger, the Kangaroo, the Turtle, the Kitty, the Banana, the Frog, the Rhino, the Astronaut, and the Night Angel.

The episode kicked off with a group performance of “ABC” by the Jackson 5, before revealing Snoop Dogg as the guest panelist. But wait! It wasn’t Snoop at all, it was Nick Cannon’s friend Eric pretending to be Snoop Dogg as an April Fools Day prank.

The Turtle was the first contestant to perform in the “Super 9.” His “Super Clue” was a comic book called “Shellboy.” For his performance, he sang “Higher Love” by Steve Winwood. The judges and audience loved his rendition of the popular song. The panelists guessed that he might be Drew Lachey, Brian Littrell, Nick Lachey, or Chris Evans.

Kangaroo was up next, and said in her clue package that she is competing to “bounce back” from “roo-mers” of her past. She sang “Not Ready to Make Nice” by the Dixie Chicks as a response to the “hell” she’s gone through over the past year. The panelists guessed she could be Amber Rose or Leanne Rhimes.

The White Tiger, while not a singer, gave an entertaining performance of “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred. The judges thought he could be Rob Gronkowski, JJ Watt, or Joe Manganiello.

After the Group A finalists performed, it was time to vote. The White Tiger received the least number of votes, placing him in the bottom 3.

The first Group B performer was The Kitty. After she sang “It’s All Coming Back to Me” by Celine Dion, the judges thought she could be Nicole Richie, Vanessa Hudgens, Emma Roberts, or Avril Lavigne.

The Banana performed next, singing “Sweet Home Alabama” by Lynyrd Skynrd. The judges guessed he might be Bret Michaels, Brad Paisley, or Billy Ray Cyrus.

The Frog sang “Jump” by Kris Kross, and the panelists wondered if he could be Siquó, Mario, or Lil Romeo.

The Banana received the least number of votes out of the 3 Group B performers, placing him in the bottom 3 and at risk of elimination.

Kicking off the Group C performers was the Night Angel, who stunned with a stirring rendition of “Rise Up” by Andra Day. The panelists applauded her as the strongest singer of the night, before guessing she could be Tamar Braxton, Brandy, or Tisha Campbell.

The Rhino sang “What A Man Gotta Do” by the Jonas Brothers, and it was his weakest vocal performance of the season so far. After he was finished singing, the Rhino told the judges “I’m not nearly as tall as you think I am.” With that hint in mind, they guessed he could be Vince Gill, Duff McKagan, or Derek Jeter.

Last but not least, the Astronaut sang “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley. The celebrity panelists loved the performance and the Astronaut’s clues and thought they suggested he could be David Archuleta, JC Chasez, or Ryan Tedder.

The judges and audience members voted Rhino into the bottom 3, joining the Banana and the White Tiger. In the end, the White Tiger was voted out of the competition, which meant it was his turn to be unmasked.

…Rob Gronkowski!

For their final guesses, Robin Thicke and Jenny McCarthy were both correct when they guessed Rob Gronkowski, while Nicole Scherzinger guessed John Cena and Ken Jeong thought it was JJ Watt.

Gronk said that when he was asked to join The Masked Singer, he said yes because “I wanted to learn how to sing and also I really wanted to learn how to dance.”
