Urfi Javed’s reality show, ‘Follow Kar Lo Yaar’, was recently released on Amazon Prime Video. The show follows Urfi’s strive to achieve fame and gives fans a glimpse into her family dynamics. While Urfi is accustomed to cameras, this was not the case with her younger sister, Asfi, and her manager, Sahel Habib Khan. Asfi and Sahel, who are also a couple, initially found it ‘hectic’ to be on camera, but soon grew used to the constant filming.

Asfi Javed revealed that although she was nervous initially, she overcame the thought of cameras being around her all the time. “It’s amazing but also stressful! I often wonder how others will perceive me, but it’s also a lot of fun. I was nervous at first, but after a while, I didn’t even notice the cameras,” Asfi told News18 Showsha.

“It’s not easy shooting a follow-style reality show. You’re out in the open for people to judge who you truly are. Being followed by cameras and mics can be hectic and nerve-wracking,” Sahel Khan said, adding that he was unsure if he wanted to be on the show. “I was in a dilemma about whether I should be a part of it, but this is all Urfi’s doing. I’m part of the show because I’m part of her family. She pushes me to be constructive,” Sahel mentioned.

As for Asfi, she calls her OTT debut ‘a dream come true’. She said, “We used to talk about it, and now it’s happening! During COVID, we were all under the same roof, fighting like cats and dogs, and Urfi kept recording us, saying we should have our show. She always believed people would love it! I’m just thankful for the opportunity! It’s all thanks to Urfi—she did all the hard work and manifestation to get this show. She’s been working day and night for it and wants the best for all of us. She deserves all the credit.”

While Asfi expressed her acting ambitions on ‘Follow Kar Lo Yaar’, Sahel has now developed an interest in showbiz. “I’m open to anything that involves acting. I don’t mind being in the spotlight and taking on new challenges,” he revealed.

After the show’s release, Urfi Javed’s family is facing comparisons with the Kardashians. Even in the show, Urfi said that she wants to become ‘India’s Kim Kardashian’. Asfi addressed these comparisons and said, “People can say whatever they want. If they think it’s a fair comparison, I don’t mind as long as they’re watching the show. I love Keeping Up With The Kardashians, so I don’t mind being compared. That show also features strong women, and so do we!”

Asfi Javed is currently in a relationship with Sahel Khan. While viewers saw some insecurity and tension in their relationship on the show, Sahel remains unfazed. “I want people to see that we are all vulnerable at times. I don’t want to mislead the audience by staging anything. Asfi and I have come this far by not caring about judgments,” he stated.

‘Follow Kar Lo Yaar’ is currently available for streaming on Netflix. The show has also amassed love from Bollywood with celebrities like Ananya Panday, Riteish Deshmukh and Orry taking to social media to promote the show.
