Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri groove to the high-energy track Chumma in Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri light up the screen in the energetic track Chumma from their upcoming film Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri bring their charm to the latest track from their upcoming film Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The song, titled Chumma, is a high-energy number sung by Pawan Singh with music composed by Sachin-Jigar, and it’s poised to become the next desi party anthem.

In the music video, Rajkummar’s character eagerly waits for a glimpse of Triptii, as they both dance to the upbeat track. With vibrant performances by Pawan Singh, Rupali Jagga, Rupesh Mishra, and Mansa Jimmy, this song is designed to get listeners on their feet. Pawan Singh, who lends his voice to the song, also makes a special appearance, joining Rajkummar and Triptii as they dance with a lively group of background performers.

Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is a comedy centered on a lost sex tape of a newly-married couple in the ’90s. Alongside Rajkummar and Triptii, the film stars Mallika Sherawat, Vijay Raaz, Rakesh Bedi, Archana Puran Singh, Tiku Talsania, and Mukesh Tiwari. The trailer teases the couple’s frantic efforts, aided by their family, to recover their “suhagraat CD” in the scenic town of Rishikesh.

The film is set to hit theaters on October 11, where it will face competition from Alia Bhatt’s Jigra. In a recent conversation with Mid-day, Raaj Shandilya said, “The idea was that a huge population of our country is coy, yet children are born every second. We are living in a world where any video can go viral within seconds. So, we decided to make a film for the middle class that has a message with a lot of humour and romance. I also wanted to explore the plight of the people at whose expense we laugh. [At the same time], we wanted to explore how people from small towns facing this dilemma would feel.”

Shaandilyaa also talked about his writing process and mentioned that he writes his comedies keeping the audience’s reception in mind. He continued, “When I am writing, I am conscious that it should be something that the majority enjoys and no one should get hurt.”
