When Vijay Deverakonda and Rashima Mandanna shared the screen in the 2019 romantic action drama, Dear Comrade, they left everyone completely impressed. Their chemistry in the film in the Bharat Kamma directorial was widely loved by the audience. Five years after the film hit theatres, a never-seen-before picture of the two actors from the sets has surfaced online which has left netizens in complete awe.

In the photo, Vijay and Rashmika are seen lost in each other’s eyes as they hold hands. While Vijay looks charming in a white shirt, Rashmika dons a blue saree and looks as pretty as ever. Check it out here:

Interestingly, Vijay and Rashmika are rumoured to be dating each other for a long time now. In April this year, they reportedly celebrated Rashmika Mandanna’s birthday together in Abu Dhabi. Even though the actors did not confirm their vacation, netizens noticed that Vijay Deverakonda dropped a video on his Instagram stories from the same location from where Rashmika also shared her pictures.

Prior to this, the rumoured couple’s trip to the Maldives fuelled speculation about a possible marriage announcement. It was also said that Vijay and Rashmika would get exchanged soon.

However, the Kushi actor later clarified that he was neither getting engaged nor getting married. “I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married,” he told Lifestyle Asia.

Besides this, Vijay was promoting Family Star when he was asked about his “romantic relationships”. The actor decided not to address dating rumours with Rashmika but rather said he is in a relationship with his parents and brother. “Yes, with my parents, with my brother, with you, and we all are in a relationship,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dear Comrade is not the only film in which Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda worked together. The two also shared the screen in the 2018 movie Geetha Govindam.
