New Documentary Will Detail The ‘Wild Ride’ Of Rudy Giuliani’s Infamous Four Seasons Total Landscaping Press Conference

Topline

Four Seasons Total Landscaping, the local Philadelphia business that found itself in the middle of one of the most bizarre political stories of 2020—when its parking lot was booked for a press conference by lawyers of Donald Trump who were attempting to overturn his loss in the presidential election, will be the subject of a documentary, filmmakers announced Monday.

Key Facts

Four Seasons Total Documentary promises viewers an inside look at how the small, family-operated company, located across the street from a crematorium and down the road from a sex shop, became the site for a press event during one of the most contentious presidential elections in modern American history.

Many have speculated Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani or a person on his staff mistakenly scheduled a press conference at the landscaper, believing it to be the branch of the well-known, upscale Four Seasons Hotel chain where Philadelphia’s votes were being counted, leading to widespread ridicule on social media.

It was during the ill-fated parking lot press conference, as Giuliani spoke in front of Four Seasons Total Landscaping’s garage door pushing unfounded claims of election fraud, that media outlets began to call the election for Trump’s opponent, Joe Biden.

Despite the subject matter, a press release described the documentary as “apolitical” and said it will have a “feel-good tone,” adding production is slated to finish this month.

Crucial Quote

“It’s an honor and privilege to be able to help tell a story that the world has been waiting months to hear. After such a hard year, everyone needed a moment to laugh,” director Christopher Stoudt said in a statement.

Key Background

Four Seasons Total Landscaping has not hesitated to capitalize on the attention the business received since hosting the infamous press conference. Just days later, the landscapers dropped branded merchandise. On Sunday, the business made a cameo in a Super Bowl commercial for Fiverr, a website that allows users to book freelance services.
