Only a handful of new songs reach Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart this week, while quite a few beloved older cuts find their way back to the list, proving their undying popularity once again. BTS rules in nearly every sense of the word, but their domination may not last more than one turn.
Here are five tracks whose moves are worth noting on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
No. 1 – BTS – “Filter”
BTS isn’t just back at No. 1 on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart (which is not uncommon for the band), they’ve landed yet another new leader on the tally. This time around, the seven-member band’s track “Filter,” a fan favorite from their most recent Korean-language release Map of the Soul: 7, vaults from No. 8 all the way to the highest rung.
“Filter” is BTS’s record-extending twenty-third No. 1 hit on the World Digital Song Sales chart. The tune finally reaches the penthouse in its thirtieth week on the tally.
BTS claim the most spots on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart, as they own seven of the 25 available rungs.
No. 5 – Blackpink – “How You Like That”
As Blackpink fans prepared to enjoy their first full-length album, they didn’t stop loving the tunes that have helped make the girl group one of the biggest names in the music industry today. This frame, the quartet chart three tracks on the tally, with “How You Like That,” the first tune released from The Album, returning to the top five once again. The cut steps up to No. 5, and it’s the only Blackpink release currently charting that was present last time around as well.
No. 6 – Edith Piaf – “Non Je Ne Regrette Rien”
Already one of the most successful releases in the history of the World Digital Song Sales chart, Edith Piaf’s “Non Je Ne Regrette Rien” has been enjoying something of a comeback recently, and it’s ascension continues unabated. This week, the beloved French-language effort climbs from No. 16 to No. 6, leaping 10 spots at once.

No. 7 – SuperM – “One (Monster & Infinity)”
SuperM may have missed earning a second consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with their debut full-length album Super One (it kicks off at No. 2, though it does open atop the World Albums list), but they’ve now landed another top 10 smash on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
“One (Monster & Infinity),” a single from Super One, enters the race at No. 7. That’s a coincidental placement, as the other two tunes from the set that have reached the World Digital Song Sales chart—“100” and “Tiger Inside”—also peaked at No. 7.
No. 12 – Bump of Chicken – “Acacia”
Japanese alternative rock band Bump of Chicken (yes, that’s really their name) debut their newly-released single “Acacia” on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 12, only missing out on the highest tier by a few spaces.
