Budget 2021 Nirmala Sitharaman’s Speech Highlights


Budget 2021: As India emerges from the Coronavirus crisis, all eyes are set on Budget 2021-22 which is being presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament today. Not only this fiscal year’s budget is expected to be ‘like never before’, it will also be the starting point for picking up the broken pieces after the economic destruction caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be ninth budget under the Modi government. Budget 2021-22 is widely expected to focus on boosting spending on job creation and rural development, generous allocations for development schemes, putting more money in the hands of the average taxpayer and easing rules to attract foreign investments.
