Doja Cat Makes A Play To Dethrone DaBaby And Roddy Ricch In The U.K.

Last week, rappers DaBaby and Roddy Ricch bolted to the top of the U.K. singles chart with their collaborative cut “Rockstar,” and now it has earned a second stay in the penthouse. The tune leads a top 10 that doesn’t feature a single new entrant, though there is some movement among the smashes that have already broken into the region.

Back up to the runner-up rung is Doja Cat’s “Say So,” which seems like it may be the next No. 1 in the U.K., unless something else comes along and stops it from ruling. The tune continues to benefit from a remix version that was released several weeks back which features Nicki Minaj, though she is not credited on the tune in the country.

Drake’s “Toosie Slide” dips one rung to No. 3 while S1mba and DTG’s “Rover” advances from No. 8 to No. 4, entering the top five for the first time. The single is the biggest hit for both acts. Powfu and Beabadoobee’s “Death Bed” holds steady at No. 5 this time around.

Next up is Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” which, like Cat’s “Say So,” is experiencing a surge thanks to the recent drop of a new version which features none other than Beyoncé. The cut advances to No. 6, coming closer to returning to its No. 3 peak.

The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” keeps at No. 7 while Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U,” which last week opened at No. 4, descends to No. 8. AJ Tracey and Mostack’s “Dinner Guest” advances slightly to No. 9 while rapper 6ix9ine’s “GOOBA” dips from No. 6, where it opened last turn, to No. 10.
