Every New Movie Coming To Netflix, Amazon, Hulu And HBO This Week

This past weekend, we welcomed dozens upon dozens of new movies to each of our favorite streaming apps: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and HBO Max.

But that was only the beginning. Throughout August, even more movies will flood those streaming platforms. And this week in particular will see ten new movies added to those four services.

Here’s every new movie coming to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and HBO Max this week:

Dora and the Lost City of Gold (Amazon Prime & Hulu)

Plot summary: Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle, nothing could prepare Dora for her most dangerous adventure yet—high school. Accompanied by a ragtag group of teens and Boots the monkey, Dora embarks on a quest to save her parents while trying to solve the seemingly impossible mystery behind a lost Incan civilization.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold stars Isabela Moner. Eugenio Derbez. Michael Peña. Eva Longoria and Danny Trejo. The film was directed by James Bobin.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold will be available to stream on Amazon Prime and Hulu on August 3.

Arkansas (Amazon Prime)

Plot summary: Low-level criminals Kyle and Swin have never met the Arkansas drug kingpin who rules their lives, but a series of mistakes puts them on a deadly collision course straight to him.

Arkansas stars Liam Hemsworth, Clark Duke, Michael Kenneth Williams, Vivica A. Fox, Eden Brolin, Chandler Duke, John Malkovich and Vince Vaughn. The film was directed by Clark Duke.

Arkansas will be available to stream on Amazon Prime on August 5.

The Peanut Butter Falcon (Amazon Prime & Hulu)

Plot summary: After running away from a residential nursing home to pursue his dream of becoming a pro wrestler, a man who has Down syndrome befriends an outlaw who becomes his coach and ally.

The Peanut Butter Falcon stars Shia LaBeouf, Zack Gottsagen, Dakota Johnson, John Hawkes, Bruce Dern, Jon Bernthal and Thomas Haden Church. The film was directed by Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz.

The Peanut Butter Falcon will be available to stream on Amazon Prime and Hulu on August 6.

Slay the Dragon (Hulu)

Plot summary: It influences elections and sways outcomes-gerrymandering has become a hot-button political topic and symbol for everything broken about the American electoral process. But there are those on the front lines fighting to change the system.

Slay the Dragon is a documentary directed by Christopher Durrance and Barak Goodman.

Slay the Dragon will be available to stream on Hulu on August 6.

The Swamp (HBO Max)

Plot summary: The Swamp provides a look behind the curtain of Washington politics by following three renegade Republican Congressmen — Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Thomas Massie (R-KY), and Ken Buck (R-CO) — over the course of a pivotal year in politics as they champion President Trump’s call to “drain the swamp.”  

The Swamp is a documentary directed by Daniel DiMauro and Morgan Pehme.

The Swamp will be available to stream on HBO Max on August 4.

An American Pickle (HBO Max)

Plot summary: An immigrant worker falls into a vat of pickles and is brined for 100 years. The brine preserves him perfectly, and when he emerges in present day Brooklyn, he finds that he hasn’t aged a day.

An American Pickle stars Seth Rogen, Sarah Snook, Jorma Taccone and Maya Erskine. The film was directed by Brandon Trost.

An American Pickle will be available to stream on HBO Max on August 6.

A Go! Go! Cory Carson Summer Camp (Netflix)

Plot summary: Cory’s spending the summer at Camp Friendship with his best friend, Freddie. But jealousy flares when Freddie brings his cousin Rosie along for the ride.

A Go! Go! Cory Carson Summer Camp is an animated special voiced by Alan C Lim, Smith Foreman, Abigail Vibat, Pfifer Chastain, Jim Capoblanco, Neena-Sinaii Simpo, Eli Morse, Adelaide Hirasaki, Paul Killam, Kerry Gudjohnsen and Maisie Benson. The special was directed by Stanley Moore and Alex Woo.

Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave (Netflix)
