Harry And Meghan Reportedly Sign With A-List Agency In Latest Career Move

Reports have emerged that Harry and Meghan have signed with the agency in a move to find work doing speaking engagements on social issues like racism, gender equality, environmental justice and mental health, as first reported by the Los Angeles Times.

The Sussexes will have joined an A-list roster including former first couples Barack and Michelle Obama, and Bill and Hillary Clinton, media giant Oprah Winfrey and Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban-Ki Moon.

Both Harry and Meghan have experience, with Harry having been a vocal supporter of nonprofit groups dedicated to improving mental health for years, and Meghan earlier this month speaking out against racism and police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

Through their return to public life, the couple will also promote their new philanthropic arm Archewell (named in part by their son Archie, and the Greek root “arche,” which means “source of action”).

Since the Sussexes’ split from the British Royal Family, Harry and Megan’s public appearances have been quiet affairs, like when Harry spoke at a private Miami JP Morgan event where he is said to have given a talk about mental health. 

According to the Los Angeles Times, the couple has no plans to accept any gigs that require they discuss their royal life, a stipulation not unheard of among minor members of the British Royal Family.
