Here Are Trailers For Every New Movie Coming To Netflix This Week

Sometimes when we review all of the new movies heading to Netflix each week, there are some really light loads—and then there are crazy weeks like this one. Over the next four days, a whopping 11 movies will be added to Netflix’s digital lineup.

There’s a healthy mix of Netflix Originals, Oscar-winners and foreign features to choose from this week. Here’s every one of them, with trailers and premier dates to boot:

Octonauts & the Great Barrier Reef

Plot summary: In this musical special, the Octonauts must find a way to hold back hungry swarms of coral-eating starfish to save a new friend’s fragile reef home.

Octonauts & the Great Barrier Reef stars Simon Greenall, Rob Rackstraw, Jo Wyatt, Paul Buckley, Simon Foster and Teresa Gallagher. The movie was directed by Blair Simmons.

A Choo

Plot summary: Determine to win the heart of his childhood crush from an orphanage, EJ becomes a boxer with superpowers and soon confronts a formidable villain.

A Choo stars Kai Ko, Ariel Lin, Darren Wang, Zhang Xiaolong, Louis Koo, Vanness Wu and Kate Tsui. The movie was directed by Kevin Ko and Peter Tsi.

A Choo will be available to stream on Netflix on October 14.

Alice Junior

Plot summary: In a small town, a trans teen with a vibrant personality shakes up her high school’s conservative ways while trying to secure her first kiss.

Alice Junior stars Anne Celestino Mota, Emmanuel Rosset, Matheus Moura, Surya Amitrano and Cida Rolim. The movie was directed by Gil Baroni.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky

Plot summary: The record-shattering Korean girl band BLACKPINK tells its story—and details the hard-fought journey of the dreams and trials behind its meteoric rise.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky stars Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa. The movie was directed by Carolina Suh.

BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky will be available to stream on Netflix on October 14.

Moneyball

Plot summary: Billy Beane, general manager of the Oakland A’s, one day has an epiphany: baseball’s conventional wisdom is all wrong. Faced with a tight budget, Beane must reinvent his team by outsmarting the richer ball clubs.

Moneyball stars Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The movie was directed by Bennett Miller.

The Three Deaths of Marisela Escobedo

Plot summary: This documentary examines a mother’s tireless crusade to jail her daughter’s murderer after Mexico’s justice system failed to do so. Watch all you want.
