How To Watch Or Live Stream UFC On ESPN 10

The UFC is in Las Vegas for tonight’s UFC on ESPN 10 fight card. In the main event, former UFC women’s flyweight title challenger, Jessica Eye, faces Cynthia Calvillo.

Eye made her UFC debut in 2013 with a 10-1 record. She had fought mostly at 125 pounds before she moved to the UFC. With no 125-pound weight division in the UFC at the time, Eye was forced to compete at bantamweight.

Eye’s bantamweight run did not go well. She went 1-5-0-1 before she could move to 125 pounds with the UFC. Once Eye dropped to flyweight she found success with the promotion. After three wins at 125, Eye earned a shot at Valentina Shevchenko and her UFC title. Shevchenko knocked out Eye in what I felt was the best knockout of 2019. 

Eye bounced back from that brutal loss with a decision win over Viviane Araujo. She is the No. 1 ranked fighter in the official UFC women’s flyweight rankings. 

Tonight’s event marks Cynthia Calvillo’s first trip to the 125-pound division. Calvillo is 8-1-1. All but three of her wins came with the UFC. Calvillo has a history of missing the strawweight limit of 115 pounds. After a third miss under the UFC banner, Calvillo moves up to flyweight.

In the co-main event Karl Roberson faces Marvin Vettori in what was to be a middleweight matchup. Roberson weighed in at 190.5 pounds for the 185-pound matchup. There has been a lot of tension between these two heading into this contest, Roberson’s weight issue and the fact that he hit the scale fairly early during the weigh-in period, won’t reduce that tension.
