Eddie Edwards def. Trey Miguel—IMPACT Wrestling World Championship

I’m all for a world champion doing an open challenge gimmick, but it really shouldn’t be opening any broadcast, let alone weekly television.

Murphy made the mistake of moving away from his uniquely fray ring gear, and Trey Miguel is carrying on that legacy.

The pitfall of this match is nobody will expect a world title to change this early into an open challenge gimmick.

Trey Miguel has the potential to be a truly great babyface.

Wrestle House—Acey Romero def. Crazzy Steve

This segment featured a shot at former WWE producer Christopher “Abyss” Parks.

This segment also featured a shot at Paul Heyman’s reputation for bouncing checks. Outside of the two Easter Eggs mentioned during this segment, Wrestle House served no purpose.

IMPACT Wrestling went to commercial and came back only for Wrestle House to get another segment. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Johnny Swinger was the lone bright spot in any of the Wrestle House segments.

Motor City Machine Guns def. Beer Money, Inc.—Victory Road 2010 (Re-Air)

IMPACT Wrestling aired a MCMG highlight reel and all of their highlights came from this match and another vintage match against The Young Bucks.

Robert Roode needs to grow his hair back out if he hasn’t started already.

The true homage to TNA was that this match had a Dusty Finish.

EC3 Vignette

The old EC3 character was so great so it’s a bit disheartening to see EC3 in this new, darker incarnation but he seems to know what he’s doing.

EC3 made it sound like he would be entering into a feud with himself.

Deonna Purrazzo def. Kimber Lee

Deonna Purrazzo’s entrance is far too overproduced for a venue with no fans.

This was the first legitimate wrestling match on this pandemic-impacted show in in nearly an hour.

It was explained that Kylie Rae, the No. 1 Contender for the Knockout’s Championship, cannot compete for the title at the moment because she’s “stuck in Wrestle House.”

I assumed this would be a squash match designed to highlight the champion and I couldn’t have been any more off base.

Wrestle House—Jake Deaner def. Cody Deaner

I fear this reality show experiment almost have to lead to a Wrestle House pay-per-view.

Sleeping areas are valued like championship in the budding Wrestle House promotion.

RVD and Katie Forbes Premiere Katie Forbes’ Website

RVD is a legit all-time great so it’s hard to see him in the role of aging boyfriend trying to stay young trough his girlfriend.

IMPACT Wrestling did everything it could to not say “Only Fans” in the promotion of Katie’s “website.”

Sami Callihan used his hacking skills he acquired during his forgettable run in WWE NXT as Solomon Crowe.
