Juice WRLD, Mac Miller, NF And Guns N’ Roses: 5 Big Moves On This Week’s Billboard 200

Recent releases by two very popular late rappers are having great weeks on the Billboard 200 albums chart this time around as one of the most successful rock bands of all time sees their greatest hits compilation become one of the longest-charting efforts ever. It’s a big frame for a number of acts, and they all sound drastically different from one another.

Here are five albums that made big moves on the Billboard 200 chart this week.

No. 1 – Juice WRLD – Legends Never Die

After debuting in first place on last frame’s Billboard 200 with the largest one-week sum of 2020, Juice WRLD’s first posthumous release Legends Never Die doesn’t move an inch this time around. The set managed to shift another 162,000 equivalent units in its second frame on the list, which is enough for it to hold atop the ranking. The project is now just the fifth title this year to rule for more than a single turn, joining Lil Baby’s My Turn (five weeks at No. 1), The Weeknd’s After Hours (four weeks), Roddy Ricch’s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial (three weeks) and Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake (two weeks).

No. 6 – Jhené Aiko – Chilombo

After debuting and peaking at No. 2 earlier this year, R&B powerhouse Jhené Aiko finds herself back inside the Billboard 200’s top 10 with her latest effort Chilombo. The set vaults from just outside the top 40 to No. 6 thanks to a reissued deluxe edition which features several new cuts. Some fans purchased the title, while many chose to stream the new tunes, helping the project return to the highest reaches of the ranking.

No. 98 – Guns N’ Roses – Greatest Hits

Hard rockers Guns N’ Roses have never had trouble selling an album, and they are back on the Billboard 200 this week with a history-making compilation. The band’s Greatest Hits reaches 500 frames spent on the all-genre tally, becoming just the fifth release to make it to that milestone. The set joins full-lengths by the likes of Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Journey and Metallica in this feat.

No. 107 – NF – The Search

Rapper NF earned his second consecutive chart-topper on the Billboard 200 last July when The Search beat the competition and debuted atop the list. Since then, the set has been going strong, and this frame it celebrates one full year spent on the tally. The hip-hop musician has now kept two different efforts on the roster for at least 52 weeks.

No. 162 – Mac Miller – Swimming

Mac Miller’s last album released during his lifetime, Swimming was a commercial and critical success when it arrived, and fans have continued to stream the full-length non-stop ever since the rapper passed away. Now, the project hits 100 weeks on the Billboard 200, becoming his first release to rack up a triple-digit frame count spent on the list.
