Knicks Center Mitchell Robinson Expected To Miss 4-6 Weeks With Fractured Hand

Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a fractured right hand, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Robinson, averaging 8.4 points and 8.4 rebounds, injured the hand Friday night during a 109-91 win over Washington.

The Knicks (12-15) have Nerlens Noel, Taj Gibson and rookie Obi Toppin among the bigs to help offset the loss of Robinson. The No. 36 pick in 2016, he is playing this year on a $1.7 million contract and has a team option next year for $1.8 million.
