Lady Gaga is set to helm the One World: Together at Home benefit concert, produced by the World Health Organization (WHO) and social action platform Global Citizen, for the WHO’s COVID-19 solidarity response fund.

The event will be hosted by NBC’s Jimmy Fallon, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel and CBS’ Stephen Colbert for their respective networks and will even feature characters from Sesame Street to attract a varied audience.

Hugh Evans, co-founder and CEO of Global Citizen, said, “As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, One World: Together At Home aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19. Through music, entertainment and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else’s.”

The virtual benefit show has so far raised no less than $35 million in the past week for the fund to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Lady Gaga said on the benefit that viewers will be able to “sit back and enjoy the show.”
