Los Angeles Shuts Off Water And Power To Hollywood Hills Home After Large Parties Violate Health Rules

Garcetti said he authorized the city to disconnect utility services to a house in the Hollywood Hills because it threw large parties in “flagrant violation of our public health orders.”

Garcetti warned earlier this month the city would shut off water and power to houses that repeatedly flout local health rules, which prohibit indoor gatherings with people outside a single household.

In a statement, Garcettti said the LAPD visited and posted warnings on the property on two occasions, Aug. 8 and Aug. 14, while large parties were in progress.

The statement did not mention an address or who owns the home, but New York Times reporter Taylor Lorenz reported it’s a rental property occupied by TikTok stars Bryce Hall, Noah Beck and Blake Gray.

Hall—and other influencers who attended—received widespread criticism last week for throwing a large 21st birthday party with strippers, little social distancing and mask usage at a separate rental home in the Encino Hills. (That home did not have its utilities disconnected.)

Hall, Beck and Gray did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Forbes.
