Former President Barack Obama appears set to make his most scathing public remarks on Donald Trump yet during his Democratic National Convention speech on Wednesday night, excerpts show, accusing his successor of having “no interest in treating the presidency as anything but one more reality show he can use to get the attention he craves.”

“I listen to that and see the horror he left us with, the stupidity of the transactions he made,” said Trump when asked about Obama’s comments during a Wednesday presser. “President Obama did not do a good job,” Trump continued, saying that if Joe Biden and Trump had done better, he wouldn’t have run for president.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama, who spoke Monday night, criticized Trump as “the wrong president for our country.” Trump immediately clapped back with a slew of tweets accusing the speech of being “very divisive” and Michelle Obama being “in over her head.” “Somebody please explain to @MichelleObama that Donald J.
