RNC Spotlights Infamous Gun-Toting St. Louis Couple To Hammer Claim Biden Will Unleash Crime And Anarchy

In June, a video of the St. Louis couple, who are both lawyers, pointing an assault-style rifle and a handgun at Black protesters went viral and was retweeted by Trump.

“What you saw happened to us, could easily happen to any of you,” Patricia McCloskey said Monday in a video that appeared to have been shot at the couple’s opulent mansion. 

The McCloskeys warned that Democrats “no longer” viewed “the government’s job as protecting honest citizens from criminals, but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens.” 

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) offered a similar dark message, saying Democrats “want to disarm you, empty the prisons, lock you in your homes, and invite MS-13 to live next door,” while a number of speakers claimed falsely that Biden supported defunding police departments.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump campaign surrogate and girlfriend of Donald Trump Jr., said during her speech that Americans who are “in trouble” and “need police” shouldn’t “count on the Democrats.”

Guilfoyle also accused Democrats of wanting “to enslave” Americans to their “weak, dependent, liberal, victim ideology, to the point that you will not recognize this country or yourself.”
