The Biggest Non-Coronavirus Stories You Missed Today: Elon Musk’s Baby’s Confusing Name, Outgoing NBC Chief Investigated By NY Attorney General

The coronavirus pandemic is upending life around the world, straining the global economy and disrupting the way Americans work, learn and socialize, but it’s not the only story; here are five news events you may have missed Tuesday:

  • Outgoing NBC News chief Andy Lack was questioned by investigators in the New York attorney general’s office as part of a probe into allegations of sexual harassment, retaliation and gender discrimination, Variety reported.
  • Elon Musk welcomed a baby boy with musician Grimes and tweeted that his son’s name is “X Æ A-12 Musk.” It is unclear what the name refers to if Musk is serious.
  • Facebook for the first time removed pages, groups and accounts associated with QAnon, a fringe right-wing conspiracy theory that purports President Donald Trump is fighting against a Deep State pedophile ring inside the U.S. government.
  • E-cigarette giant Juul is laying off 900 workers as it moves its headquarters from San Francisco to Washington, D.C., the San Francisco Chronicle reported, after it drew the ire of public health officials for allegedly marketing its products to teens.
  • NASA is working with Tom Cruise to film a movie on the International Space Station, which would make it the first movie filmed in space.
