The Cheesecake Factory Is Now Selling Beer And Wine To Go

Popular restaurant chain, The Cheesecake Factory just announced that it is now selling beer and wine for pickup orders placed through its website. In a press release the company states that the policy is in effect at most of its 205 locations nationwide, but cautions to confirm by checking the online menu of the location nearest you.

So, what can you get? Again, that depends on where you are. The eatery operates a drink selection that’s surprisingly specific to each region. For beer it means, at the very least, you’ll be able to score bottles of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Sam Adams, and Stella Artois to pair with your Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp and spinach cheese dip.

On the wine side of the menu options should be more extensive. The ‘Factory’ typically maintains a fairly robust collection of bottles, usually focused around Northern Californian offerings. It is the first time they’ve offered beer and wine sales, an obvious response to the dire economic ramifications of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Last month, the publicly-traded company made headlines when CEO David Overton informed all of its landlords nationwide that they wouldn’t be receiving April rent. “Due to these extraordinary events, I am asking for your patience, and frankly, your help,” he said in a written letter. “We appreciate our landlords’ understanding given the exigency of the current situation.” He concluded by adding that they hope to resume normal payment as soon as possible.

In brighter news, there’s free dessert. Now through April 16th, customers who spend more than $30 on pickup orders get a complimentary slice of cheesecake. You can add the item to your cart by using the promo code FREESLICE at checkout. Orders can be placed here.

Remember, calories don’t count when it’s stress-eating.
