The Costliest Condominium On Seattle’s Waterfront Is On The Market For $10.9 Million

Just completed, The Emerald is Seattle’s newest luxury condominium tower, located above downtown Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market and the city’s newly reimagined waterfront. The 40-story faceted-glass building located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Stewart Street is crowned with two luxurious top-floor penthouses, Trillion and Marquise. The Trillion, which measures 3,948 square feet, is listed for $10.9 million, making it Seattle’s most expensive luxury listing along the city’s waterfront.

Designed by the world-renowned, female-led Seattle-based team, Julia Nagele of Hewitt Architects and Susan Marinello of Susan Marinello Interiors, the residential building unveils a striking collection of 262 signature studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences and penthouses with unrivaled 360-degree vistas. Views of Elliott Bay range to the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, the Space Needle, Mount Rainier and more.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this incredible milestone,” says Josh Nasvik, Managing Director at Polaris Pacific, who is marketing the residences. “The Emerald represents such a unique opportunity to buyers and prospective purchasers through carefully curated floor plans, designer finishes, and sweeping vistas all in an unparalleled location. The completion will surely attract a national audience for such a rarified product.”

He points to Seattle’s ongoing growth as a magnet for Millennials, as well as retirees.

“It is one of the country’s friendliest cities for outdoor activities of all kinds, including hiking, boating, cycling and so much more, and in Seattle, those activities are year ‘round.”

For those who want their exercise indoors, The Emerald’s third floor has a fitness studio, a yoga studio, a pet run and spa, including pet bathing station. On this floor is also a guest suite. For added convivence, all residents of The Emerald are provided on-demand access to Tesla Model X and Model S vehicles through a unique partnership with Envoy Technologies. The 39th floor, which has both indoor and outdoor areas, includes the Olympic Room, an impressive double-height glass-encased club room with a catering kitchen. It opens to Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains and is equipped with indoor and outdoor lounges, a media room, and firepits.

Each residence offers Latch touchless and keyless entry technology for seamless and secure access, floor-to-ceiling glass windows with incredible views, the finest finishes including wide-plank European White Oak hardwood flooring, custom wood cabinetry with integrated lighting, and quartz counter tops. Appliances are by Bosh, except in the penthouses, where they are by Miele.

“Seeing our work completed is gratifying,” says Julia Nagele, Design Director of Hewitt Architects. “We started designing the Emerald seven years ago as lines on paper and as pixels on our computer screens. It is satisfying to see a relationship between the big ideas finding their way into the smaller details.”
