The Lovebirds (Netflix)

The biggest prize this weekend is The Lovebirds, which stars Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani as a couple on the brink of breaking up. The romantic comedy follows them as they try to find a way to save their relationship.

Rocketman (Hulu & Amazon)

This Oscar-winning biopic of Elton John’s life will hit both Hulu and Amazon this weekend. The movie details the career of Young Reginald Dwight, who eventually became one of the most iconic pop stars in history.

Ready or Not (HBO)

This low-budget horror/thriller/black comedy focuses on Grace, who has just married into the Domas family. The only catch? She has to survive a deadly game of hide-and-seek in the family mansion before her first night as a new wife is through.

Just Go With It (Netflix)

This modern rom-com focuses on a plastic surgeon (played by Adam Sandler) who pretends to be married to his assistant (Jennifer Aniston) so he can enter into new relationships with no expectations. But then he meets a woman he’d actually like to make his wife.

Homecoming (Amazon)

Season two of the podcast-turned-Amazon-drama-series finds Janelle Monáe replacing Julia Roberts in the lead role. The show centers around the strange, mysterious, unethical practices of a facility meant to help transition soldiers back into civilian life.

To Tell the Truth (Hulu)

A classic game show, To Tell the Truth hosts a celebrity panel that questions contestants in order to determine the actual person associated with a story. In this updated version of the show, Anthony Anderson hosts.

Selling Sunset (Netflix)

This reality show from Netflix focuses on The Oppenheim Group, where elite real estate brokers sell multi-million-dollar homes. There was plenty of drama amongst the realtors in season one that will undoubtedly carry into season two this weekend.

The Painter and the Thief (Hulu)

This 2020 project from the Sundance Film Festival comes from Norwegian documentary filmmaker Benjamin Ree. The movie focuses on Czech artist Barbora Kysilkova, who starts an unlikely friendship with the man who stole two of her paintings.

Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series (Netflix)

The original Trailer Park Boys series has a mass cult following. The show then transitioned into an animated series. The second season of that spin-off premieres this weekend on Netflix.

Come to Daddy (Amazon)

Elijah Wood hasn’t been in the spotlight very much since Lord of the Rings, but he has starred in a number of independent projects. That includes Come to Daddy, in which he plays a privileged man-child who visits his dad after not seeing him for 30 years.

Top End Wedding (Hulu)

This 2019 film stars Gwilym Lee and Miranca Tapsell as Ned and Lauren. The newly-engaged couple then goes on a search for Lauren’s mother, who has gone AWOL in northern Australia.

Dynasty (Netflix)

This modern reboot of a 1980s soap opera now has 64 episodes that will be streaming Netflix this weekend. The show follows two incredibly wealthy families as they fight to control their fortunes and their children.

Holey Moley (Hulu)

This wacky game show showcases mini-golfers from around the country as they battle through mini-golf obstacle courses. Think of its as American Ninja Warrior with golf clubs.
