The Weeknd Leads, Dua Lipa Charts Three Top 10 Hits And Lil Mosey Rises In The U.K.

The top 10 on the singles chart in the U.K. is fairly quiet this frame, with little movement and only one new entrant, but that’s not to say there’s nothing happening inside the arena worth talking about.

Steady at No. 1 once again is The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights,” which has now ruled the list for eight weeks across three separate runs, which remains a feat that only a handful of solo male musicians have managed in the history of the ranking.

Behind The Weeknd, the Nos. 2 and 3 songs swap spots from last time around, with Saint Jhn’s former leader “Roses” climbing from third to the runner-up rung while Drake’s “Toosie Slide,” which started off in the passenger seat a week ago, falls just one spot.

Dua Lipa controls the next two positions on the chart with “Physical” and “Don’t Start Now,” which served as the first singles from her sophomore release Future Nostalgia, which is a non-mover atop the albums list this frame. Those cuts are comfortable at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, but they aren’t her only wins inside the region.

Also steady is Joel Corry’s “Lonely,” which holds at No. 6 this week.

Newcomers Powfu and Beabadobee take their surprisingly successful collaboration “Death Bed” to a new high of No. 7 this week. Also up this frame is Doja Cat’s “Say So,” which lifts one rung to No. 8.

The sole new title inside the top 10 this week comes from rising hip-hop figure Lil Mosey. The teenage musician lands his first placement between Nos. 1 and 10 with “Blueberry Faygo,” which steps up from No. 11 to No. 9. The tune is taken from his sophomore album Certified Hitmaker, which peaked at No. 67 in the U.K.

Rounding out the top 10 is Dua Lipa, who claims three spots inside the tier for the third consecutive period. Her current single “Break My Heart,” which once climbed as high as No. 6, tumbles to No. 10, and it looks like it will disappear from the area when the ranking refreshes in a few days.
