UFC 250: Final Betting Odds For Amanda Nunes Vs. Felicia Spencer Fight Card

Amanda Nunes puts one of her two UFC titles on the line tonight when she meets Felicia Spencer in the headlining bout of UFC 250.

Nunes captured the women’s bantamweight title in July 2016 with a first-round submission win over Miesha Tate. In her first defense of that belt, Nunes ran over former champion Ronda Rousey. The champ knocked out the ex-titleholder in 48 seconds. In her second defense of the 135-pound crown, Nunes topped current flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Nunes successfully defended her belt a third time in May 2018 when she scored a late knockout win over Raquel Pennington.

Nunes moved up to featherweight in December 2018. She faced Cris Cyborg in that contest. Cyborg had not lost a fight since her 2005 debut. She was 20-1-0-1 heading into her matchup with Nunes. The bantamweight champ put a second loss on Cyborg’s record in 51 seconds via knockout.

Nunes has defended her bantamweight title twice since defeating Cyborg. Her matchup against Spencer is Nunes’ first attempted defense of the featherweight crown.

Spencer joined the UFC in May 2019. In November 2018 she won the Invicta FC featherweight title. She made her jump to the UFC before defending that title.

Spencer won her UFC debut via first-round submission. That victory earned her a matchup against Cyborg. Spencer did not win that fight, but she did not back down from her much more experienced opponent. Spencer lost that bout by decision.

The Canadian fighter bounced back from her first career loss with a February 2020 TKO win over Zarah Fairn Dos Santos.

In the co-main event of UFC 250, Raphael Assuncao faces Cody Garbrandt in an important bantamweight scrap.
