Will Donald Trump Ever Play Golf With Tom Brady Again?

President Trump played golf yesterday without wearing a mask, and if last weekend is any indication of what is still in store this weekend, he will be calling the TNT studios sometime after 3 p.m. EDT today to comment on what he is seeing as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson pair up with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in a made-for-TV match.

Chances are, politics will intrude.

Last week, the top golfer in the world made headlines when he said that he probably wouldn’t play golf with Donald Trump again due to the President’s policies.

Rory McIlroy took a stance, and oddsmakers are weighing in on whether the four players in this Sunday’s charity golf event will do the same. Woods, Brady and Manning have all teed it up with President Trump at different times previously, and the odds suggest they might again.

What’s more, Trump has defeated Brady, who has moved from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Also, Manning is on record saying Trump does not cheat at golf … something other athletes would dispute.

Might they play each other again? Read on.

The president joined Mike Tirico for an on-air interview during last weekend’s charity golf match on NBC, which included McIlroy and three other pros. When pressed about McIlroy’s comments, Trump indirectly responded.

“A lot of them are very political, actually. A lot of them like my politics very much and some don’t, I guess,” Trump said. “The ones that don’t I don’t get to see as much.”

A

number of golf prop bets involving Trump, gold and politics have been posted by SportsBetting.com. (Note: SportsBetting.com is a legal and licensed sportsbook in the United States. Currently, these odds are for entertainment purposes only.)

Why would anyone mix those three volatile ingredients?

“Sports, gambling and politics are at the core of the American society,” said Daniel Graetzer, CEO for Carousel Group, which operates SportsBetting.com. “We strive to create buzzworthy odds that resonate with the media and its audience, so what better way than to cross-pollinate the country’s most topical news in the POTUS and the absence of sports. Of course, these are for entertainment purposes only, but the underlying message is still pertinent.

“There have been a lot of athletes speaking out against President Trump and his handling of many political situations. We’re certainly not taking one side or the other, only projecting true odds of what might occur down the road,” Graetzer said.
