WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 Results: Winners, News And Notes On February 21

WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 came and went with a shocking finish as The Miz defeated Drew McIntyre after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 advertised two men’s Elimination Chamber on Raw and SmackDown as Drew McIntyre defends the WWE Championship in the Raw Chamber with Universal champion Roman Reigns defending his title against the winner of the SmackDown Elimination Chamber. Elimination Chamber also featured Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler for the Women’s Tag Team Championships while Bobby Lashley defends his United States Championship against Riddle.

Both Raw and SmackDown were up slightly this past week as Raw garnered 1.810 million viewers while SmackDown garnered 2.072 million.

Daniel Bryan Wins WWE SmackDown Elimination Chamber

  • Cesaro Eliminated King Corbin with a Sharpshooter
  • Kevin Owens Eliminated Sami Zayn with a Stunner
  • Jey Uso Eliminated Kevin Owens via Frog Splash
  • Jey Uso Eliminated Cesaro via Frog Splash
  • Daniel Bryan Eliminated Jey Uso by Running Knee

Kevin Owens was as fired up to be in his pod as anybody.

Sami Zayn did not start this match yet he was still insisting there was an injustice being done while locked inside his pod.

This match eventually slowed to a halt when Baron Corbin entered, but it wasn’t all that exciting with the snooze-inducing technical wrestling clinic between Cesaro and Daniel Bryan.

Kevin Owens sent Sami Zayn flying into the Elimination Chamber pods similar to how he turned on Zayn while they were in NXT.

Roman Reigns def. Daniel Bryan—WWE Universal Championship

Daniel Bryan finally scored a big win only to get destroyed by Roman Reigns moments later. The man’s magnanimity knows no limits.

Edge vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37 is going to be an interesting match both on and off camera. Which ideology will win out, the star from the past going over for a happy ending or the current top star retaining?

Riddle def. John Morrison and Bobby Lashley

This match could just as easily be competed for best physique in WWE.

The early goings of this match was jsut more of Bobby Lashley mauling his way through everybody.

Lashley kicked out of not one, but two back-to-back top-rope finishers.

If this match was no DQ, what was to stop MVP from using his crutch this whole time?

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler def. Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks—WWE Women’s Tag Tam Championship

It didn’t take long for Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair to start swooning for Reginald’s empty compliments. In fact, it took exactly two days.

Sasha Banks let Reginald into her circle and it backfired, and she only has herself to blame.

Drew McIntyre Wins WWE Championship Elimination Chamber

  • Kofi Kingston eliminated Randy Orton via rollup
  • Sheamus eliminated Kofi Kingston via Brogue Kick
  • Drew McIntyre eliminated Jeff Hardy via Claymore Kick
  • AJ Styles eliminates Sheamus via Phenomenal Forearm
  • Drew McIntyre eliminates AJ Styles via Claymore Kick

Prior to this match, MVP was seen talking to Money in the Bank holder The Miz, which is likely to play into how this pay-per-view ends.

AJ Styles called an audible by having Omos break open the pod, allowing Styles to enter the Chamber before his time.

Randy Orton has had a WWE Championship or WrestleMania match with every man in this Chamber.

The Miz def. Drew McIntyre—WWE Championship

I was hoping The Miz was selling the Money in the Bank briefcase to Bobby Lashley, but there really would be no incentive in him doing so. Lashley attacking McIntyre leaves the window open for McIntyre-Lashley when all the dust clears.
