Opening Segment Featuring Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre

Randy Orton can’t possibly lose a third consecutive WWE Championship match to Drew McIntyre, can he?

Raw beginning in a dark room with Rand Orton cutting an on-location promo was a nice change of pace to a show that ended up repeating all types of matches and segments.

Mandy Rose, Asuka and Dana Brooke def. Natalya, Lana and Zelina Vega

This match didn’t fall apart and that’s a credit to Asuka and Natalya.

Lana is on pace to break the record for the most consecutive weeks taking the Samoan Drop through an announce table if she hasn’t broken that record already.

Whenever Rusev’s sour grapes postmortem airs on Talk is Jericho, I’m sure Lana will be going through announce tables on both Raw and SmackDown.

Seth Rollins and Murphy def. Dominik Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo

Seth Rollins wanted credit for keeping many of Murphy’s text exchanges with Aalyah private, but then went on to detail what those private messages said.

Given how personal this feud is becoming on a weekly basis, there was a little too much posturing from Dominik Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo during their entrances.

Not to be immature, but I find it extremely ironic that Dominik Mysterio has the letters “DM” on his gear given the recent text exchanges between Murphy and his sister.

The KO Show Featuring Bray Wyatt and the Firefly Fun House

Kevin Owens noted that anybody who touches The Fiend changes. So let the countdown begin to Owens turning heel.

Kevin Owens accurately pointed out that anybody with a dark and twisted gimmick tends to have heat with him from Aleister Black to The Fiend. Given how lackluster Black’s heel turn has been, I wouldn’t mind seeing him drafted to The Firefly Fun House.

The brand extension has been blown to smithereens ahead of this Friday’s WWE Draft.

Bray Wyatt’s off-key “Friends” single needs to be on iTunes as soon as possible.

Braun Strowman and Keith Lee Battle to a Double Countout

WWE’s newest way around breaching its brand extension rules is to call these interpromotional matches “exhibitions.”

Braun Strowman is now dressing like like he jus came out of the swamp The Fiend dragged him into during their Swamp Fight at Extreme Rules.

Another non-decisive finish in a Keith Lee match. He’ll be the next Goldberg in no time!

They should have never called Keith Lee up if they were too terrified to put him over anybody with a name. Just garbage booking.

R-Truth def. Drew Gulak—WWE 24/7 Championship

R-Truth 42nd WWE 24/7 Championship was among the funniest, with WWE already poking fun at its main event storyline from just one week ago.

When a referee has to count on a garbage can in a title change, it tells you everything you need to know about the title.

Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley def. Apollo Crews and Ricochet vs.

MVP’s non-TV PG nickname for T-BAR was hilarious.

This feud has been Hotel California for months now, and Apollo Crews is now stuck in the basement of that hotel.

Seth Rollins Demands an Apology from Murphy

Murphy already has new theme music in preparation to leave Seth Rollins.

Seth Rollins begged off despite wearing a thick leather jacket while taking shots from a pliable kendo stick.

When I saw Murphy standing tall as a babyface over a top heel with a kendo stick, I thought it was too good to be true. I was right.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs. The Riott Squad

The finish of this match, with Ruby Riott submitting and Liv Morgan weeping over her lifeless body, was booked like Mufasa’s demise on The Lion King.

This match went way longer than I expected it to and Nia Jax is slowly starting to find her niche as a tag team wrestler.

Mustafa Ali Joins RETRIBUTION

It’ a crazy time in WWE right now where a babyface, like Mustafa Ali, can turn heel against other heels.

This feels like WWE salvaging the hacker storyline that Mustafa Ali was rumored to be a part of. I wonder if that will be incorporated into this angle.

Randy Orton, Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler def. Drew McIntyre and The Street Profits

There was a fleeting moment where it seemed WWE was going to give Montez Ford a victory over Randy Orton, and it was such a beautiful moment.

This was Drew McIntyre’s first pinfall loss since winning the WWE Championship. Furthermore, it was his first pinfall loss of 2020. This is enough of a feather in Randy Orton’s cap to where he won’t be weakened with a third straight loss at Hell in a Cell, not that somebody of Orton’s stature could be weakened by anything at this point.
