Amitabh Bachchan is set to celebrate his 82nd birthday on October 11, and a recent promo for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 highlights the megastar’s special day alongside Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan. In the clip, Aamir expressed his admiration for Big B, praising his enduring success and continued dominance in the film industry over the years.
The promo opens with contestants showering Amitabh with heartfelt birthday wishes. One contestant dedicated a touching poem, while another performed a rap in his honor. Aamir joined in by dancing to Amitabh’s iconic song ‘Jumma Chumma De De’ before sharing his respect for the legendary actor. He posed a question to the audience, “Jab mein chota tha, tab superstar kaun tha? (When I was young, who was the superstar?)” to which the crowd responded with Amitabh’s name. Aamir continued, “Ab jab mein buddha ho raha hu, tab superstar kaun hai? (Now, as I’m growing old, who is still the superstar?)” Once again, the audience echoed Amitabh’s name.
Earlier, the makers of KBC shared a promo featuring Aamir and Junaid Khan on the hot seat with Amitabh. The teaser revealed their fun interactions and light-hearted banter, with Aamir showing his admiration for Big B, and the strong camaraderie among the trio was clear.
Recently, the channel also released another episode promo, where Aamir and his son Junaid Khan joined Big B on the hot seat. The video featured a light-hearted conversation between the two where Aamir Khan proved to Amitabh Bachchan that he is his biggest fan.
In the latest promo of KBC, the Dangal actor asked Amitabh Bachchan, “I have one question for you. Aapko apni shaadi ki date yaad hai. (Do you remember your wedding date?)”. The actor responds, “June 3, 1973,” to which Aamir asks for evidence, saying, “Koi sabut toh dijiye.”
This left Big B speechless for a moment with Aamir continuing, “Mere pas ek sabut hai (I have one). Your wedding card. And meine aapko apka number one fan hone ka sabut dia hai (With this, I have proved that I am your biggest fan).”
Hearing this, Amitabh Bachchan, along with the audience present there, laughed their hearts out. Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday special episode will air on Sony TV on October 11 at 9 PM.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in the Tamil film Vettaiyan, releasing on October 10. The movie also stars Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, and Abhirami in pivotal roles.
