Filled with power-packed action sequences and impactful dialogues, Yodha follows the story of Arun Katyal (played by Sidharth Malhotra), a suspended Army officer.

Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra is currently basking in the responses he has been getting for his recently released action thriller, Yodha. Helmed by Pushkar Ojha And Sagar Ambre, the film is produced by Karan Johar and also stars Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in the lead roles. Filled with power-packed action sequences and impactful dialogues, Yodha follows the story of Arun Katyal (played by Sidharth), a suspended Army officer. With a tag of being a traitor, he finds himself in a situation of saving passengers from a hijacked Air India fight. Disha played the role of a Cabin Crew, while Raashi played Sidharth’s wife in the film.

Among all action sequences in the film, the Ittefaq actor also had a fight scene inside the airplane’s washroom for which fans heaped praises on him. Recently, Sidharth took to his Instagram account and dropped a video in which the Ek Villain actor talked about how he managed to shoot for the scene inside an airplane’s toilet with his co-actor.

He said, “I’ve done my fair bit of few action films in the past but the first time I’ve fought inside a toilet. I’m not the shortest of men around, me and the other characters are cramped up in this airplane toilet. I’ve got really long arms, so if I would really stretch my arm it would go through the other wall. So we had to be really crunched up and move our punches or do choreography. As we are trying to portrait this new style of me doing action. I think we’ve done a very interesting job to keep it commando but really real and raw at the same time that you could see this character do this action.”

On its opening day, Yodha took a slow start as it minted Rs 4.25 crore at the domestic box office. However, the film gathered momentum on the second day and collected Rs 5.75 crore which took the film’s total 2-day collection to Rs 9.85 crore in India.

Talking about the actor’s future project, Sidharth Malhotra has still not announced his next film.
