Zee Cine Awards 2020 was shot as a televised show and was cancelled for the general public due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Zee Media released an official statement saying that it was a precautionary measure. To avoid mass gatherings following the coronavirus outbreak, the general public was not allowed at the event which was held in Mumbai on March 13.
