Swan on ‘The Masked Singer’ Clues & Guesses So Far 3/11/2020

The Masked Singer is heading into its final preliminary rounds with Group C getting their shot to strut their stuff on the stage. For the first time this season, FOX will welcome T-Rex, Astronaut, Rhino, Night Angel Bear and a gorgeous Swan to perform for the judges. But who is under that dashing Swan costume?

The Masked Singer has been keeping mum so far, but we’ve put together the best guesses about their identity so far:

‘The Masked Singer’ Swan Clues & Guesses

In the first clue package, The Swan revealed why she chose to wear the costume. “The swan is known for its scarceness,” she said. “I am the swan here because I refused to be tuned out.”

“You won’t know my name. I’m someone and no one,” she said in her teaser. “I am the fun and no fun. I’m laughing and screaming all at once… Now I’m euphoric and flushed with fever as I bare my soul to you.”

For her first song, The Swan performed “Fever” by Peggy Lee. The judges instantly got off their feet to dance with The Swan.

There weren’t too many immediate clues about The Swan before she performed. The main thing people were going off us was the costume itself. It led many fans to assume the performer was female.

The Swan on ‘The Masked Singer’ Top Guesses

The top guesses from the judges were Nina Dobrev, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar. 

Jeong made the guess of Nina Dobrev because of her history with the Vampire Diaries. “I noticed the vampire fangs,” he said.

Nicole Scherzinger, however, went in a different ghoulish direction. “Going off of the clues, I saw a ghost,” she said, noting the person she was proposing has been on many TV shows. “I know this person was in a show called The Ghost Whisperer. I think it’s Jennifer Love Hewitt.”

Jeong thought it was a fabulous suggestion. “I want that guess!” he exclaimed.

Robin Thicke stayed in the same realm as the other judges. “I was going with the gothic.. and I was thinking Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” he said. “I’m going with Sarah Michelle Gellar.”

Before taking the stage, top guesses about The Swan were that she was possibly Cyndi Lauper. In one promo on Instagram, The Masked Singer said, “I just Swan-na party,” which could be a play on Lauper’s famous hit, “Girls Just Want To Have Fun.”

Icelandic singer Bjork notoriously wore a swan dress 2001 Oscars, which is a reason some people thought it could be her under the swan costume today. Jeong made that guess, though he was instantly shut down by the other judges.
