The Pogues Have ‘Everything to Lose’ in ‘Outer Banks’ Season 4 Teaser

The Netflix series will return in two five-episode parts on October 10 and November 7

The Pogues are bringing home the gold and searching for even more in the first teaser trailer for Outer Banks Season Four. The adventurous Netflix series will return this fall in two five-episode parts, with the first premiering on Oct. 10 and the second on Nov. 7.

At the close of season three, the series jumped forward nearly two years in time. When we caught up with John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant), they had all settled into a new lifestyle on Kildare after their deadly treasure hunt on a deserted island.

“That’s where the story should have ended,” John B says in the new teaser. “But really, it was just the beginning.” And because none of these teenagers have apparently ever known peace, the upcoming season carries with it the promise of more chaos, wild adventures, and even higher stakes. “We have everything to lose this time,” John B adds.

Outer Banks Season Four will see the addition of cast members J. Anthony Crane, Pollyanna McIntosh, Brianna Brown, Rigo Sanchez, and Mia Challis. The expansion comes as the Pogues find themselves racing against a new set of enemies going after the same hidden treasure: Blackbeard’s gold.

“They need to slow down and let all the ripples wash through. We’re getting some ideas about that [for Season 4], because I agree. You want the crazy jumping[-off-ships] stuff, but you want an emotional realism,” creator Josh Pate told Netflix’s TUDUM last year. “Taking stock and letting the impact of things really reverberate is part of keeping it emotionally real.”
