This Independence Day, choose from ‘Flix Freedom Fest’ on &flix and a special I-Day binge on &PrivéHD

Our great nation attributes their years of a tireless pursuit to see a free sovereign nation, that is ruled by none yet governed by all, to a key few individuals who stood the test of time. On Saturday, August 15, 2020, celebrating its 74th Independence Day, &flix and &PrivéHD come together to remember the years-long of struggle that guaranteed our freedom of expression and the liberty to proudly self-identify ourselves as Indians.

Spread across two days, the Flix Freedom Fest on &flix gave the viewers the privilege of having their voices heard by airing the movies of their choice conducted via polls in addition to a special day-long binge on &PrivéHD.

With more than 20 different titles to choose from, fans got the freedom to decide on how they would like to be entertained this weekend. Having received an overwhelming response on the channel’s socials with close to 30,000 votes, &flix now brings to you some of the leading entertainment features that you wished for this Independence weekend. Raising spirits high with the Flix Freedom Fest starting Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, these movies that are sure to ignite the patriot in you.

Starting the day with cop action duo in Bad Boys For Life followed by a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic future in Zombieland to the slick secret agents in charge of protecting the galaxy against a horde of aliens in Men in Black International.

From your friendly neighbourhood teen superhero in Spider-Man: Homecoming to the angel of death himself in Ghost Rider, there is no dearth of pumped-up action super features running all weekend. Be careful what you wish for as Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart return to play the world’s most dangerous game in the fun family comedy, Jumanji: The Next Level or watch as galaxies mightiest heroes take on a god-like celestial being in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2.

“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.”. This famous quote by Social rights activist Nelson Mandela speaks on the lines of an individual’s tenacity to resolve his greatest difficulty by doing great things no one else dares to do. On this day, &PrivéHD takes you on a trip through history with an Independence Day Special binge to witness such similar acts that have had a resounding impact with movies like Lincoln, Mandela: A Long Walk To Freedom, The White Crow, War Horse, Django Unchained and The Best Of Enemies.

We invite you to join us in commemorating the eventful journey this Saturday, August 15, 2020, and Sunday, 16th August 2020 with a special Independence Day programming only on &flix and &PrivéHD.
