24kGoldn And Iann Dior’s ‘Mood’ Replaces BTS, Jason Derulo And Jawsh 685 At No. 1 On The Hot 100

In its tenth week on the Hot 100, the ranking of the most-consumed songs in the U.S. every week, 24kGoldn and Iann Dior’s “Mood” rises to the peak position, hitting No. 1 for the first time.

The tune is the first top 10 hit and the first chart-topper for both musicians. It lifts to the highest rung on the Hot 100 thanks to a very healthy stream count and impressive radio numbers, while sales didn’t factor into its success quite as heavily this time around. The title sold just 7,000 copies this frame, it was streamed 20.3 million times and it racked up just under 63 million impressions across countless radio stations in the U.S., according to Billboard.

“Mood” replaces last week’s ruler, Jason Derulo, Jawsh 685 and BTS’s “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat),” which took over the Hot 100 last frame. That cut dips from No. 1 to No. 6 in one surprising decline.

24kGoldn and Iann Dior’s smash has become a cross-genre success, giving the two musicians, who are most often connected with the hip-hop world, control over the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, Hot Alternative Songs (a newly-introduced breakout from the main ranking) and Hot Rap Songs chart, which it tops for the first time this week.
