Billie Eilish, Post Malone And Tom Petty: 5 Big Moves On This Week’s Billboard 200

Four very successful titles hit noteworthy milestones on the newly-refreshed Billboard 200 while another debuts…a week before it was supposed to.

Here are five albums that made big moves on the Billboard 200 chart this week.

No. 14 – Billie Eilish – When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Since she stopped pushing singles from her debut full-length When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, BIllie Eilish has shared a one-off hit (“Everything I Wanted”) and the theme song that she and her brother Finneas composed for the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die, but these new releases haven’t distracted her fans from listening to the project that made her a global powerhouse.

When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? celebrates its first full year on the Billboard 200 and it’s still charting at No. 14, so it’s safe to assume the title won’t vanish anytime soon.

No. 28 – Post Malone – Beerbongs & Bentleys

His newest album Hollywood’s Bleeding is currently placed at No. 7, and not too far behind, Post Malone’s sophomore album Beerbongs & Bentleys proves its incredible popularity once again by settling at No. 28 in its one-hundredth frame on the Billboard 200. The effort continues to stay afloat on the chart thanks in large part to millions of listeners streaming the singles from the set, such as “Rockstar,” “Better Now” and “Psycho.”

No. 62 – 5 Seconds of Summer – Calm

Apparently due to some kind of error (or maybe it was someone’s plan all along), a number of copies of 5 Seconds of Summer’s new album Calm were shipped early, which means that some sales count this week, while the rest will be registered next frame. Enough units of the title were sent out that it debuts at No. 62, though it’s sure to shoot straight into the top 10 next time around.

No. 108 – Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – Greatest Hits

In the 20 years since Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ Greatest Hits compilation peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, it has moved well over 10 million units (earning a diamond certification, which remains pretty uncommon in the U.S.) and fans keep buying the set. It has now spent 350 weeks on the chart, and while that’s not a history-making length of time, it does rank among the 50 longest-charting titles ever.

No. 137 – Zac Brown Band – Greatest Hits So Far…

While the Zac Brown Band may not have been around as long as Tom Petty and his Heartbreakers, their compilation of their most beloved tracks, the optimistically-titled Greatest Hits So Far… has been going strong ever since it first dropped. The album has lived on the Billboard 200 for 250 frames, and listeners continue to stream and purchase it week after week.
