BTS’s Suga Is Currently Charting Hits On The World Songs Chart Under Three Names

Most musicians are lucky to reach a Billboard chart once or twice, and only the most powerful and popular can do so under different names. Sometimes musicians start in groups and then go out on their own, or perhaps they become successful as soloists and then they partner with others or form a band and chart more wins. These instances are rare, but it’s not impossible for some acts to find their way to the important rankings of the most popular tracks in the country with several monikers…but to do so at the same time is nearly unheard of.

BTS member Suga has done the nearly impossible, as he has not only reached Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales ranking under three different names, but he is currently charting hits on the list using all of them. That’s a feat that has possibly never been managed on any roster.

As Agust D, the name he uses when recording and releasing solo mixtapes, Suga occupies the entire top 10 with all 10 songs featured on his new project D-2. That type of domination is extremely uncommon, but he’s not the first to do so.

Just below the top tier the first of four BTS cuts is found. The group routinely occupies several positions on the chart, and this frame is no exception, even as one of the band members pushes nearly everything else down the ranking with his slew of immediate smashes.

Finally, down at No. 17, Suga charts a hit under the moniker he uses most often. Last week, he scored a No. 1 on the World Digital Song Sales ranking as a featured guest on fellow South Korean musician IU’s “Eight,” and now, while that tune does fall considerably, it helps him make history by holding on and not dropping off the list completely.

Here is a look at where all 15 of Suga’s current hits land on this week’s World Digital Song Sales chart.

No. 1 – Agust D – “Daechwita”

No. 2 – Agust D – “Strange (ft. RM)”

No. 3 – Agust D – “Burn It” (ft. MAX)
