SBI customers may face inconvenience on Sunday: Know why your banking activity could be affected

State Bank of India (SBI), India’s biggest lender, on Friday, informed its customers that they might experience some intermittent issues while accessing INB/YONO/YONO Lite on November 22. SBI is extremely active on social media and has been instrumental in bringing timely information for its wide range of customers.

Fresh in the series of SBI’s latest notice is this information. SBI tweeted, “We request our esteemed customers to bear with us as we upgrade our internet banking platform to provide for a better online banking experience.”

SBI has asked its customers to “bear with” it on November 22 as the bank will be upgrading its internet banking platform. It posted a card that read, “WE ARE UPGRADING. We are upgrading our Internet Banking platform for better customer experience. During this upgrade activity, INB / YONO / YONO Lite may experience some intermittent issues on 22nd Nov 2020.”

It added, “We regret the inconvenience caused and request you to bear with us.”

The number of customers using SBI internet banking facilities is nearly 81 million and mobile banking services stand a little more than 18 million.
